Manage stamina and time Spurt

Keep the acceleration marker on the white line, draft the middle of the race, and spend Spurt only while stamina is still there.

Stamina is the resource that decides whether Spurt does anything. Sprint spends it. The final push needs some left.

Hold the efficiency line

Keep the acceleration marker on the white line during ordinary running. That November 24, 2025 instruction is the clearest written rule available. Burst above it to close a gap, defend a spot, or finish a pass, then return. Sitting at maximum the whole lap is how runners die before the last corner.

Recovery happens while you are still moving. Use straights, open space, and the corner mini-game. The corner prompt is described as Spacebar in that written guide and as three targets in the November 12, 2025 beginner video.

Draft, then leave

Sitting in the slipstream of a racer ahead saves stamina. Use it through the middle of the race. Overtake when there is room to accelerate past, not when you are stuck on their tail into a crowded corner.

Spurt

PC key is R. A November 18, 2025 guide says you can Spurt twice per race, that it launches you forward, and that it spends stamina. Combine it with sprint only when the bar can pay for it. Saving both uses for a blocked first corner wastes them. Spending both before the last corner leaves the finish flat.

Later comments on a January 20, 2026 Tamamo time video say a speed change made an old 1:34 line harder. Treat any published lap time as patch-specific.

Style changes the bill

The November 23, 2025 style table, printed after that day's Front Runner buff and Pace Chaser nerf:

Style Stamina use Stamina regen Max speed
Front Runner +20% -10% +5%
Pace Chaser -15% +10% no boost
Late Surger -16% +15% +7%

A May 1, 2026 summary says Front Runners also regen stamina quicker. That sentence does not match the -10% regen cell above. Use the numbers only as the November 23, 2025 table, and read your Uma's current style on her page.

Late Surgers also lose speed quickly if you stop pushing (speed decay +10% on that table). They are strong at the end only if you actually spurt.

A simple spending plan

  1. Start prompts, then settle on the white line.
  2. One short burst to reach the style's preferred slot: front for Silence Suzuka, the forward pack for Pace Chasers, the rear pack for Late Surgers.
  3. Draft and corner regen through the middle.
  4. Skill when its condition is true, Zone when the meter allows a last-corner or final-spurt use, Spurt while stamina remains.

Character conditions live on each character page. Style bonuses are on Running Styles.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is [OGURI CAP MASTERY] Uma Racing?

It is a fan-made Roblox racing experience inspired by Uma Musume. You ready up, clear a start quick-time event, manage sprint and stamina, then use your Uma's Skill, Zone, and Spurt to finish ahead.

Is this the official Uma Musume game?

No. The Roblox description calls it an unofficial fan-made game. It is not an official Cygames or Uma Musume product.

How do I start and finish a race?

Press Ready in the lobby. Hit the start quick-time prompts, then keep the acceleration marker on the white line instead of holding full sprint from the gun. Select your Uma from Menu, then Storage. New Umas are bought in the shop.

How much does an Uma pull cost?

Guides dated May 1 and June 13, 2026 both say one Uma pull costs 250 Cash. Cash also pays for emotes, MVPs, and name tags. Exact cosmetic prices were not published in the pages used here.

Do codes require the Roblox group?

Yes, according to every detailed 2026 redeem guide checked. Join the uma racing Community group first. Lists then disagree on whether the button is Menu at the bottom or Product on the left.
